The WIE (Women Inspiration & Enterprise) hosted by TV presenter / producer June Sarpong was held in London recently. The event which coincided with International Women’s Day on the 8th March attracted a number of key speakers and influential women.

It was a momentous moment as the racist killers of Black teenager Stephen Lawrence were today found guilty of his murder at the old Bailey in London. Racist thugs Gary Dobson, 36 and David Norris, 35 were led down to the cells at the Old Bailey following the guilty verdict delivered by the eight men and four women jury. [...]

Arriving at the old Bailey today, Neville and Doreen Lawrence acknowledged the media presence as they entered the Old Bailey in the city of London. The couple who’ve worked tirelessly for eighteen years to keep the case in the public domain moved a step closer in seeking justice for their beloved son Stephen.
