Ne-Yo launches Malibu Red in London
Singer/songwriter Ne-Yo is used to performing before thousands of fans worldwide so we were as surprised as any when he made this low key visit to the Salon bar at the Embassy night club in London.
Hot-footing it from the X Factor camps, the Grammy award winning artist performed at an intimate gig to mark the launch of Malibu Red. Guests who included recording artist Alexandra Burke, Connor Maynard and singer/songwriter Preeya Kalidas were spell bound as the artist performed tracks which included: Monster and Let Me Love You.
The collaboration with Malibu Red could have something to do his upcoming fifth studio album entitled R.E.D (an acronym for Realizing Every Dream) which will be released on October 31. The singer insists however that he has fully participated in every stage of the development of this brand.
Rap Music and Hip-hop’s association with alcoholic beverages goes way back and not without its critics. Brand managers will be monitoring the success of Malibu Red against brands such as Alizé Blu which became a cult drink of its genre.
Wearing a fab pair of knee length Christian Louboutin boots, singer/songwriter Alexandra Burke was keen to keep a low-profile. She complimented this look with skinny jeans and black leather jacket.
Celebs in the city
Over in Mayfair pop sensation Delilah headlined the launch of the Baroque bar at the Playboy club in Park Lane.
The singers knock-out black leather and chiffon Falguni and Shane Peacock dress was simply show-stopping.
