‘Iron’ Mike Tyson lights up London

Despite being refused entry into New Zealand, Mike Tyson looked more than happy to have fast-tracked the launch of the Mike Tyson Collection in London.

The former undisputed boxing champ was surrounded by a posse of minders when he arrived through a side entrance at Lillywhites in London, Piccadilly Circus. Posing for the press the boxer was clearly proud of his achievements and his appreciative audience.

The former heavyweight boxing champ shed light on his career and the lessons he has learned in the process.

When questioned about boxer Ricky  Hatton’s reported  return to the boxing ring Mike Tyson was fearful of his motives, Tyson said: “Whatever his reasons let’s hope it’s not something really bad because in my situation I might go to drugs, this is a hard high to get it’s hard to replace this stuff.

…Drugs are not going to work but you don’t think that until you find out.  It’s very hard to replace the highs and adrenalin you get from being in the ring. Even if you are on a losing end you can’t replace this stuff so you have to come to grips with yourself and be truthful with yourself and start something else…

This is how I’ve done it; you become what you always mock.”

When asked if he would have benefited from the knowledge he knows now Mike Tyson said: “If I knew then what I know now I probably wouldn’t have been successful in the ring.”

Gaga goes to Harrods in a horse drawn carriage.

There was reportedly  a wild paparazzi  chase from the Dorchester Hotel in London to Harrods in Knightsbridge when Gaga emerged via an underground carpark in London.

One paparazzi said: “They lead us to believe she was taking the front door, we’ve been sat out here for hours.” Another paparazzi said “It was always going to be 50/50, a call was made to Harrods and they gave us a time of 8.30pm. Gaga’s driver said the closest we’d get to her was at Harrods.”

There was anger however as the security at Harrods tried to grab the keys off a passing motorcyclist. “There were just too many bikes, some mounted the pavement another got stopped by the police at least eight motor vehicles broke the security barrier,” said a motor bike paparazzi.
