Alexandra Burke rocks out of The Bodyguard

Popstar Alexandra Burke ended her role at the Bodyguard with a spectacularly emotional performance at the  Adelphi Theatre in London.

According to an audience member ‘everyone was in tears as they sang the final song’. Alex looked fabulous when as she arrived at the Theatre for the final performance wearing leather trousers, jacket and see through sheer top. This she wore with studded sneakers.

One theatre goer Dean who has watched the show ’35’ times yes that’s Thirty Five 35 said: Alex was perfect, the show really reflected her musical talent in its entirety. It was very emotional. Alex is pictured with co star Tristan Gemmil.

Pictured on the penultimate night (above), Alexandra reportedly burst into tears when another audience member stated that Whitney Houston would have been proud of her.

THE BODYGUARD, the award-winning musical based on the smash-hit film, has been wowing audiences at the Adelphi Theatre starring three-time Brit nominee and X-Factor winner, Alexandra Burke as Rachel Marron, with Tristan Gemmill (Casualty, London’s Burning) as Rachel’s bodyguard, Frank Farmer. Former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, Frank Farmer, is hired to protect superstar Rachel Marron from an unknown stalker. Each expects to be in charge – what they don’t expect is to fall in love.

THE BODYGUARD featured a whole host of Whitney Houston’s greatest hits including Queen of the Night, So Emotional, One Moment in Time, Saving All My Love, I’m Your Baby Tonight, Run to You, I Have Nothing, Jesus Loves Me, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and one of the greatest hit songs of all time – I Will Always Love You.

Keeping up appearances is something that has become quite natural to the X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.

Throughout the shows Alexandra always made time for her supporters.

Alexandra surprised people who were queuing overnight for tickets ahead of the final show by making a personal appearance.

Despite her hectic daily schedule, business continued and Alex turned heads at gala screenings and functions across London.

Whilst many of us were relaxing over summer it was business as usual as Alex rocked a variety of  styles throughout appearing at The Bodyguard.

There’s no doubt that Alex has grown in confidence throughout the summer. The star won over critics with her gritty performances – not bad for a girl who is still only 25 years old.
