Stars reach out to Reggae Showcase TV
Europe’s premier Reggae Showcase has seen audience quadruple since the inception of the TV show. Attracting global icons including Levi Roots, Luciano, Ken Boothe (OD), Enos McCleod and Amanda Foster to name just a few, this weeks weekly installment lived up to all expectations.
A capacity crowd greeted stars who showcased their unique talent at this weeks Reggae Showcase in London. TV show host Savana was joined on set by the legendary Ken Boothe OD.
Seventeen year old Jordain Chin (daughter of music heavy weight Jack Radics), proved she had brains and beauty. Her fathers musical talents has lived through to the next generation. The audience were spell bound. When asked what she would like to pass on to those younger than herself? Jordain replied: “Wisdom.”
Local talent Incient Angel certainly represented the top end of emerging Reggae. Having recently returned from Jamaica Incient gave the audience a valuable incite of his experiences in the Caribbean and and how it impacts throughout the diaspora.
DJ / Singer Peppa captivated the audience with her soulful voice. Peppa proved that being part of the Reggae fraternity is not just an experience but for many a way of life.
Reggae Showcase UK, Sky Channel 221, is an epic one-hour special bringing the very best of Reggae and Dancehall music through authentic and credible programming whilst giving a voice to and sharing the Caribbean experience. Host Savana will shine the spotlight on emerging and established talent with interviews, news and reviews in the areas of music, business, acting, journalism, law, politics and more.
Reggae Showcase UK is filmed in front of a live audience each and every Tuesday with your host Savana featuring new guests every week. Reggae Showcase goes out on SKY Channel 221 OBE TV and online @www.obetv.co.uk, each and every Friday from 10pm-11pm and repeats Wednesdays 10pm-11pm, hosted by Savana.
The aim of the program is to inspire, uplift and entertain and provide a platform of the Caribbean Diaspora and sharing the very best it has to offer with the rest of the world. It aims to be the first place that lovers of Reggae and Dancehall or simply all things Caribbean turn to for inspiring guest interviews, amazing competitions, the latest news from the contemporary and traditional Reggae and Dancahall scene, as well as a whole array of stellar music performances on Fridays 10pm – 11pm and Wednesdays 10pm-11pm on Sky Channel 221 and online @ www.obetv.co.uk.
