Substance and style, Jessie J, Shepherds Bush

All eyes were focussed on west London last night as BRIT award winner Jessie Jay performed at the 02 Shepherds Bush Empire in London.

Jessie J’s monumental rise to fame and stardom has been the result of years of hard work and dedication. She is respected not only by her peers but the press love her too.

“The fact that Jessie J’s concert attracted more press photographers than Naomi Campbell’s White Ribbon charity event speaks volumes; some cynics have even suggested that Naomi’s White Ribbon event is little more than a positive publicity campaign to improve her public profile, “said Mark Weir from FLYER.

The irony is that Naomi was raising money for Haiti in the Caribbean yet Caribbean publications were excluded from Naomi’s press launch and photocal.

 “Is it any wonder that her credibility as an ambassador is called into question. It couldn’t happen in the US. so why should we put up with this nonsense in the UK.” Weir exclaimed!

Music prodigy Dionne Bromfield, (Amie Winehouse’s God-daughter) was surrounded by fans when she left the 02 Shepherds Bush Empire. One fan even asked the talented youngster to sign an autograph on her face!

The biggest cheer of the night was given over to Jessie J. There were so many fans and paparazzi that Security had to block-off a whole street just to get Jessie safely into her car.” said Scott who was collecting autographs.

A security officer said: “We have an agreement with the local council that has allowed us to close the street off in exceptional circumstances. This was an exceptional circumstance and we needed to ensure the safety of the artist and her fans.”

Also spotted in town today were singing sensation Rox and model /DJ Daisy Lowe who appeared at the Anothermag.com party in London.
