Boris Johnson under fire from all angles

Stepping out from 10 Downing Street Boris Johnson looked like a man that had the world on his shoulders.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is pictured as he steps out from No. 10 Downing Street on week 10 of the nation wide pandemic lockdown.

Participating in the last official ‘Clap For Our Carers’ PM Johnson joined thousands of households in sharing his gratitude for NHS and care workers who continue the battle to save lives whilst enduring huge hardship fighting against the global Covid 19 pandemic.

With his premiership under intense scrutiny there’s a perception that government adviser Dominic Cummings who has been accused of breaching the lockdown rules by travelling 264 miles to County Durham and travelling a further 60 miles whilst under full lockdown to visit Barnard Castle has undermined PM Johnson’s ability to persuade the UK public to abide by lockdown regulations.

PM Johnson’s unwavering support for his adviser Dominic Cummings has not only damaged his credibility as a Prime Minister in the eyes of many but has also angered plenty within the Conservative Party.

Outside Downing Street a silent protest by NHS medics carried a reef to the front gates which did not go unnoticed. Written on a placard was the simple message Doctors not Martyrs.
