Miss Jamaica UK sends New Year message
Recently crowned Miss Jamaica UK Jasmine May 17 has made her first public announcement as she welcomes in the New Year in London, England.
The seventeen-year-old stunning student aspires to become a public speaker and presenter and used her platform to thank people for their support.
Jasmine proved to be a natural in front of our camera, the seventeen year old pageant title holder is currently studying Media Studies at college. Jasmine intends to further continue her education at university.
Speaking to FLYER Newspaper Jasmine said: “I’ve been overwhelmed by the kind support that I have received from the public and community. I would like to use this opportunity to say thank you.”

Miss Jamaica UK is now 26 years strong and is the oldest and most established pageant within the Caribbean Diaspora.
Previous winners have gone onto achieve much success. Most recently April Jackson who competed at Miss Jamaica UK, went on to represent Jamaica at Miss Universe 2008 and more recently appeared in Sir Alan Sugar’s The Apprentice on BBC One.
