Jamelia moves forward despite setback

It was a week that pop star Jamelia would rather forget after it was reported that the Birmingham born beauty forgot to renew her car insurance.

The talented singer who is reliant on her car to combine her family and work commitments has been forced to find temporary alternative forms of transportation.

Jamelia who urged others not to make the same mistake in believing that their insurance policy would automatically be updated said: “I was horrified when I was told that I was driving my car without insurance…

“Unfortunately, it is an easy mistake to make in a busy life when you do your insurance online. In the interests of everyone’s road safety I would urge everyone who does so to check carefully exactly when their policies are due for renewal.” Despite the setback it was back to business for Jamelia who appears as a guest panelist on ITV’s Loose Women.
