Lil’ Kim meets fans following LoveBox no-show

Controversy surrounded Lil’ Kim’s headline gig that was cancelled just moments before the star was due on stage in London.

Lil’ Kim claimed that her show was axed due to circumstances beyond her control. The LoveBox organisers however claimed the show was axed due to Lil’ Kim’s late arrival.

The latest controversy will not sit well with the organisers of LoveBox who were already facing criticism following the late withdrawal of So Solid. Furthermore some press photographers complained the organisation ignored their requests for accreditation. “They said they would contact me for accreditation and simply didn’t bother,” said an international agency photographer.

Following the cancellation Lil’Kim took to twitter to invite her fans to meet and greet her at her hotel. “That was such a classy thing to do,” reported Karla Ashley from Island Fuse.

The queue to meet Lil’Kim took everyone by surprise as over 100 people arrived at the hotel yet despite the huge depth in numbers Lil’ Kim greeted each and everyone of her fans and gave out merchandise. (Lil’ Kim fans showered the US star with gifts in London).

Lil Kim also used the experience to introduce her signed artist Tiffany Fox.
