American Lana Del Ray lights up London

There was definitely a buzz in the air at the Jazz Cafe as American singer Lana Del Ray took to the stage.

The ‘Born to die’ artist is rapidly becoming a megastar and judging alone by the chaotic scenes when she departed the venue, Lana could well reach the dizzy heights of artists such as Jessie J or Adel.

Lana took to the stage at 9.pm for a one-off gig sponsored by HMV. With just a piano, guitarists and strings accompanying the artist for this intimate gig few could doubt the artists integrity.

By 11pm, over twenty paparazzi had assembled outside the venue.

Leaving from the dressing room entrance there were scenes of chaos. Some paparazzi fell-over others didn’t get pictures.
