Rihanna brings festive cheer to the capital

Global superstar Rihanna brought some early Christmas cheer to thousands of visitors to Westfield Shopping centre in London today by officially switching on the Christmas lights.

Westfield marked this glamorous occasion by staging a dazzling display of pyrotechnics, Rihanna was surrounded by a beautiful set of Roses and joined on stage by Children from Help a London Child charity

Rihanna said: “I just so love London, it’s so great to be here today. I flew in especially for this event so I won’t be out partying tonight as I’ll be heading out soon.”

“What made you decide to dye your hair red?’ said host Georg Lamb

Rihanna said: “I’ve been pondering with the idea for at least two years and I just decided to go through with it.”

For Christmas the thing I’m looking forward too is getting some sleep – In my free time I don’t walk around the house wearing glamorous clothes, I prefer just to wear underwear.”

“Oh…I really wasn’t expecting you to say that.” said George Lamb.
