Diva goes down-south
Within hours of being announced tickets to see revolutionary filmmaker Tyler Perry and international icon Janet Jackson’s screening ‘Why Did I Get Married Too.’ sold out at the Ritzy Cinema in Brixton, South London.
The red carpet event saw hundreds of people line the pavement opposite the Ritzy theatre in Brixton where the screening took place.
Tyler Perry was the first to arrive. Meandering down the red carpet signing autographs and doing interviews, Tyler was swamped by a sea of photographers, surprisingly none of which were of African or Caribbean origin.
Next to arrive was Janet Jackson. Miss Jackson had kept us all guessing the night before with regards to her arrival in the UK.
We can report however that Janet flew in a private jet which landed at second-world war air-base, Biggin Hill, Croydon. She later was snapped leaving the Dorchester Hotel in Park-Lane, London.
Wearing a risqué cool grey see-through dress and gold accessories Janet looked fabulous.
Her newly cropped hair was a bit similar to Rihanna but Janet carried it off with confidence and style. Janet Jackson did well to hold her nerve against this desperate photographer (pictured) who was clearly only interested in her cleavage.
Janet complimented her dress with a pair of gold shoes to match her gold clutch bag and a spiral chain bracelet.
Just a few miles away fellow U.S. artist Kelly Rowland was snapped arriving at Molten House in South Molten Street.
Kelly was at Molten house with her backing dancers but looked rather jaded when she left two hours layer. The music diva then went on to party at Movida nightclub.
Madonna another regular on the London scene was spotted at Aura Night-club in Mayfair.
