The Saturdays were one woman down for their first major gig of the year at the ASDA Tickled Pink Girls’ Night Out concert at the Shepherds Bush 02 in London.

Confusion surrounded the mystery why band member Vanessa White didn’t take to the stage last night at the Shepherds Bush 02.

One fan told Flyer: “We heard the sound checks and Vanessa seemed to be struggling vocally.” According to reports Vanessa left the building being consoled by band mate Rochelle Wiseman.

Vanessa was apparently fighting off an illness and therefore was not able to perform.

Meanwhile the remaining girls, Una, Rochelle, Frankie and Molly rocked a solid performance and greeted fans off stage.

Rochelle wearing a dressing gown to keep warm took to her phone. We imagine to chat about her performance with her boyfriend Marvin from boy band JLS.

JLS were snapped at Nobu Restaurant in Mayfair.

A heavily pregnant Una Healy under the watchful eye of Frankie Sandford greeted well-wishers before  heading back  to their Hotel.

Michelle Keegan was spotted leaving the Mayfair Hotel in London.

The actress was surprised to see over 100 fans waiting outside.

Michelle was relieved to find that the fans were not actually waiting for her but had been tricked into believing Leonardo Dicaprio was attending a premier at the Mayfair.

Known for her fine taste in fashion, Noisettes lead singer Shingai Shoniwa has collaborated with millinery designer Catherine Elizabeth to produce an exquisite collection of designer hats.

Wearing an ivory white full length Julian Macdonald couture dress, Shingai Shoniwa looked on point for the launch. Constantly challenging convention has enabled Shingai to experiment creatively through music, art and fashion.

Designers including Julian MacDonald have embraced Shoniwa’s sharp sense of style which has helped reinforce Shoniwa’s status within the music and fashion industry.

Speaking to Flyer Newspaper at the launch Shingai said: “Fashion and style has played a key role in my development as a recording artist. The collaboration with Catherine Elizabeth began in June 2011 and I’m really happy with the result.

My biggest challenge tonight is getting my mothers approval. She appears to like the collection so I’m quite relieved.”

The girls greeted fans but when asked by fans where Frankie Sandford was the girls remained silent.

Carnival Monday is only hours away and the hottest ticket in town without doubt was the pre-carnival Wrangler party at Westbourne Park Road, Notting Hill. Celebs, Jaime Winstone, Sarah Jane Crawford, Zara Martin and Vanessa White rocked at this pre-carnival Monday Wrangler Jeans party.

Standing out from the crowd, Jaime Winstone rocked a trendy ‘Loud Speaker rucksack’, however after a member of her entourage reportedly made threats against two photographers we saw a side of Jaime that was uncharacteristic from her usual charm.

Arriving with a huge show-biz entourage Vanessa White from the Saturday’s rocked into the early hours of Monday morning.

Kim Kardashion fragrance launch was marred by scenes of violence and chaos outside of the Oxford Street branch of Debenhams in London.

A reporter said: “Kim Kardashion was escorted from a side entrance but her car was nowhere to be seen. She was stranded, the crowd surged forward and staff went on the offensive, most were not even wearing any form of visible identity.

“Not only were several fans reportedly man-handled but two photographers were assaulted by over eight staff members including one who was placed in a stranglehold and another reportedly punched in the face.”

“There appeared to be limited experience of crowd control. The reports of violence happened on a public right of way therefore any form of physical contact amongst staff is an abuse of power.”

A photographer said: “We’re experienced in working with celebrities; they are in the UK for one reason, to get publicity. Inexperienced staff equals major liability.

Paparazzi thrive on chaos, Debenham staff  tried to stop us from getting pictures by placing their hands all over our cameras and when this didn’t work they resorted to violence. If they were policemen they would have been on disciplinary charges the fact that they were  representing Debenhams makes it even worse.

Some teenage girls were crying after they were crushed onto a parked motorbike. If it is proved that those involved did not possess the relative qualifications there is a likely hood that some staff could face assault charges, pictures of those involved have reportedly now been taken.”

Staff tried to stop these pictures from being taken however all attempts failed and they resorted to violence.

Alexandra Burke rock’s Biker Chic

Last month we revealed Alexandra’s fantastic new ‘Biker- Chic’ look however Alexandra is now officially a Biker Chic as we can now reveal.

Donning leathers, Alexandra hitched a ride on a Virgin Courier motorbike outside of the LWT TV studios in London.

Despite all the rush Alexandra still found time to spring a surprise on one of her fans when she presented her with a Birthday Cake.

Alexandra was not so worried about her hair under a crash helmet, however the heavy biker jacket was a little un flattering.

    Fantasia displays raw talent despite injury

Not everything in America is bigger or necessarily better, however, Fantasia’s performance at the London 02 Arena last night was a reflection of just how big and high the standard obtained for American Idol really is.

Despite being in physical pain, Fantasia rose above her injury to captivate her capacity audience with a fantastic live performance. “We have many shows here but that girl can really really sing.” said a security guard on the front-desk.

    Celebs glam up  for prestige awards-night

Some of the biggest names in showbiz glam-med up for the annual glitzy Glamour Awards in London last night.

Boy band JLS were joined by musicians including Jessie J, Alexandra Burke, The Saturdays, Keri Hilson and American Kim Kardashian.

Down  to  earth, Sugababes walked from the Mayfair Hotel to the awards ceremony in Berkeley Square. They were joined for the entire distance by paparazzi. “I think you’ve got enough pictures by now.” said a friend.

“I think you’ll find that we will be the best judge of that.” retorted a paparazzi.

We’re not supposed to have favourites in bands but if we were then Vanessa is right up there. Vanessa White probably the most understated band member of the Saturdays is reportedly very popular amongst the paps and the press.

The only way was Mayfair, yesterday as  a tiny sector of central London became the Mecca of attention as celebs either passed through or attended meetings in the area.

It was an early start for Kerri Hilson who had five wardrobe changes on her first full day of five in London.

Wearing customized figure hugging denim shorts Mis Hilson’s day started early with a trip to MTV. Radio, TV and brand promotions were on the books for Kerri today.

Kerri was joined by publicists Emmanuel, PR Director Daren Dixon and reporters for an evening meal at top Thai restaurant ORA in Portland Place.

Frankie Sanford from The Saturdays was spotted looking for a parking place in Berkeley Square. “Her number plate was spotted in Green Park so we had a fairly  good idea where she was heading.” said as Flyer spotter.

“We sat on the job and it was  only a matter of time before Frankie was joined by Rochelle Wiseman and Una Healey and Vanessa White, however Mollie was reportedly spotted by another agency photographer in a park with boyfriend David Gandy.” said the spotter.

      Avril Lavinge evades fans in Mayfair

Despite our great attempts to remain covert the girls were soon spotted by some fans who were waiting for Avril Lavinge.

However, pint-sized American diva Avril had other plans, meeting her fans was deffinately OFF the agenda. Avril was not about to do any press either.

The chequered flags were out in London for the thirteenth Gumball 3000 Rally. The Gumball Rally 3000 crosses 10 countries in 7 days including a glamorous pit stop for the Monaco F1.

This year’s competitors included Ruff Ryders first Lady Eve. Back on the grid for  the second time, the Billboard busting rapper whose hits include Let There Be Eve and her 2001 follow-up album, Scorpion, featuring the single  ‘Whose That Girl’ will be hopping to replicate the No.1 spot with her co-partner and founder Maximillion Cooper.

Competing for poll position include NFL All stars, Reggie Bush and Ndamukong Suh. Also hoping to put a dent in the oppositions chances of success will be American Rapper BunB.

MTV’s Dirty Sanchez aka Matt Pritchard and Lee Denton were lucky to make it to the starting line following some crazy pranks which ended in a fight in the back of a black cab which left one of them floored.

   The day after the night before

The night before was a raucous affair and come to think of it, it was a wonder anyone actually made it to the start. Eve arrived looking quite serene; she dropped her guard four hours later revealing her pink thong.

Guests Rnb talent  Royston, Aisha Mckenzie  Model agent and  choreographer, Mason Smillie, Publicist  Emmanuel, Dynamo, Vanessa White  (Saturdays) and the gorgeous Melody Thornton (Pussycat Dolls) were rocking at the Playboy club in Mayfair.

The following morning fresh faced and ready to rock Eve and her co/partner were ready to face the world and were the first to leave. Wearing less jewels than the previous year Eve was keeping a low profile. ‘It was an emotional send off.’ said an observer.

The roads now clear of Obama blockades the rally set off from Covent Garden, next stop Paris.

Hard working Alexandra Burke rocked  in her collaborative JLS  clothing line, 2kx at Mahike night  club.  They were previously dinning out at Kayaci.

Fantastic  breakthrough artist Jodie Connor was also spotted at Mahike in Mayfair.

    Why paparazzi ‘called time’ on Thriller?

Thriller Live celebrated its  thousand performance however not everything went according to plan wit regards  to the press.

Shortly after these pictures were taken paparazzi walked out on the job leaving the show with the liklihood of limited exposure in the press.

Despite  so many events taking place on the same day the fact that at least eight photographers attended the event was a good result. However following what has to be the statement of  the year photographers downed tools and  walked.

“We simply had to call  time on Thriller Live following the comments made by  the front-desk .” said a  snapper.

“We were told aggresively that celebrities were  here to  see the play and not to do pictures so we all left, most of  us didn’t even bother to send in our pictures to the agencies.

“We can only conclude that Thriller Live does not need any  extra exposure in the press.”

Another photographer  said: “Why bother to  inform media agencies on which  celebrities were coming if they don’t want press.”

Patrick Allan from the Drifters who attended the after party at Planet  Hollywood said: “When I came to the  show last year there were so  many  photographers. Those comments should not  have been made, it does not make sense.”

Thriller Live had to compete on the day with events such as JLS video launch, Rebbecca Furguson at the Grosvenor, Paul Smith fragrance launch and Alexandra Burke at Mahike.

“Photographers will only go to events in which there is a strong likelihood that they can sell  in pictures. In reality Thriller is classified as niche market.” said Mark Weir from  Flyer Newspaper.

Deets on this party had been embargoed however, with celebrity limousines heading out of central London it was reportedly open season for paparazzi in Marylebone last night.

“We tracked several  vehicles heading towards Great Portland Street so we followed them.” said a photographer.

VIP guests included: Pixie Geldof, Tolula Adeyemi, Vanessa White, Jamie Winstone, Lauren Pope, Mason Smillie, Royston, Alexis Jordan and much of the cast from The Only Way is Essex.

America’s Got Talent finalist – Alexis Jordan has been in London now for several days, it is her third visit to the capital and her fan club is growing rapidly. The American teen, wearing an ivory white dress looked a bit shell-shocked after being perused by London’s paparazzi.

You would never have placed Pixie Gelfof as being a ‘life saver’ but when she hailed a London Black Cab, the last thing she or anyone else for that matter expected was a driver who thought he was on set of a Starsky & Hutch movie. The driver sped off with one door half open and a passenger clinging to the side whilst Pixie tried to pull him in.

Pixie appeared to have been giving the driver some verbal but given what she was wearing ‘Urban camouflage’, it is unlikely the driver took her very seriously.

No party is complete without model and celebrity DJ Tolula Adeyemi who has according to twitter been working in the US. We’re really feeling the ‘New Look’ here at FLYER.

Walking the New Look red carpet was some of the cast from The Only Way is Essex. Lauren Pope appeared to be nursing a saw head whilst the other (Not so camera shy) ladies where happy to bask in the attention of the press.

Saving the best till last, Vanessa White from the girl group The Saturdays was the last VIP to arrive. Wearing a fun-all-in-one, Vanessa was keen to show off her newly toned physique.

Other guest included artist Royston and BGT finalists Flawless.

It’s tough being a pop-star, especially when you have to spend the day lounging around on a giant sofa and signing autographs but for these girls it was business as usual.

The Saturdays, Frankie Sandford, Rochelle Wiseman, Una Healy, Vanessa White and Molly King  were in town as part of T-Mobile’s Big Sofa Night In advertising campaign.

T- Mobile’s latest nation wide campaign is hoping to encourage the public to participate.

Wearing tight-fitting charcoal and black dresses the girls tried hard to conceal their modesty as they bounced around the inflatable sofa.

Signing autographs with the public Rochelle showed she’s a natural especially with children. Rumours are rife that she is house-hunting with boyfriend Marvin from JLS. Judging by these pictures could Rochelle be feeling a teeny-weenie bit broody?
