There were no regrets at Dappy(Dino Contostavlos) solo launch at Movida nightclub in West One. Dappy who was also celebrating his chart topping success with hit single ‘No Regrets’ was supported by his fellow N Dubz pals Tulisa (cousin) and Fazer.

N-Dubz who as Flyer exclusively revealed in August are set to have a two year break to concentrate on their solo projects. Dappy said: ‘Tulisa is assigned to X Factor and in two years time the demand for N Dubz will be such that we will reform.’

Joining Dappy and N Dubz were industry talent, Sarah Jane-Crawford, Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk, Emmanuel, Dionne Bromfield, Jade Ewen (Sugababes) and many more.

Sparking rumours of a rekindled relationship Tulisa and Fazer arrived together in a white Phantom Rolls-Royce.

Dappy’s long-term girlfriend and mother of his two children Kaye Vassell declared her love for her number one man and in doing so lost her feathered earring.

With mum out the picture and heading home it was well passed closing time before the party officially ended.

Had it not been for the likes of Alexandra Burke and Pixie Lott, the Quintessential Awards would have to go down as the most disappointing events of the year so far.

Not only were some of the UK’s largest photo-agencies turned away at the door, but the three page wish-list of stars billed to turn up amouted to only a hand-ful.

A photographer siad: “This isthe second time this  has heppened with regards  this PR Agency. To exclude so many photo-agencies and in such  away is just not good PR.”

Grammy Award winning artist, Lenny Kravitz played a one-off gig at the Box nightclub in Soho last night Monday. The American was promoting his ninth studio album, Black and White America.

Lenny joins a number of US artists currently enjoying London’s Autumnal weather including Kelis reportedly a resident of Spain, John Legend and New Kid on the block, Kate Voegele.

Kate Voegele was pictured at the London Oakley launch however we are mystified what the connection between extreme sports and Kate Voegele is?

Us singer – songwriter and One Tree Hill actress was apparently hosting an event to to toast the Oakley limited edition sunglasses collection. Surprisingly Kate was far too cool and sophisticated to be seen wearing a pair of sunglasses when stepping out in London this evening.

Also in town, young protégé Dionne Bromfield marked her debut performance at the Noel Coward Theatre in Covent Garden as part of Pop Goes the Musical: Million Dollar Quartet.

The young soul singer who reportedly arrived still wearing her high-school uniform performed a 1950s classic, Why do Fools Fall in Love.

Dionne performance was reportedly faultless however there were issues with the PR for this event which was below standard which might explain why only two press photographers turned up.

“The PR didn’t really care-less, they were operating far beneath the usual standard and as such in our experience let Dionne down,” reported Flyer’s field reporter.

Eastenders Television star, Angela Wynter popped into the top West End Caribbean’s eatery Mr Jerks in Wardour Street, London.

You saw it first on FLYER website last July, Popular band  NDubz will take time to work on solo projects for the next two years.

Stars including Peter Andre, Stacy Solomon and the Sugababes were snapped in Kensington London following the launch of Pop Goes the Musical, an Initiative for Children in Need.

The acts who are due to perform in various West End musicals in September were snapped leaving the Kensington Roof Gardens in London.

Some fans who’d been waiting several hours to meet the Sugababes and Peter Andre were not left disappointed. Peter, Heidi, Amelle and Jade (Sugababes) greeted their loyal fans and signed autographs however some fans were lefty disappointed after Stacy Solomon made a quick exit to her taxi ride.  

The three acts are due to perform for one night only in various West End musicals in September to raise funds and awareness for the charity.

Former Sugababes vocalist Keisha Buchanan wowed audiences in London as she performed tracks from her forthcoming solo album.

The launch event was in partnership with Jacques Town House (pop-up boutique).

Arriving early Keisha looked picture perfect as she greeted a select few in the media.

Keisha performed tracks which included: Beautiful Mess, Fearless, Rolling In The Deep, Push The Button / Overload, Carried Away, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun / Run The World (Girls).

Jamie arrived wearing black and departed in white: “I hope people aren’t getting the wrong message,” said Jamie cheekily.

Speaking of Keisha’s debut performance Jamie said: “Considering this was a live performance Keisha was really fantastic.”  

Jamie wasn’t the only celeb who discovered the vintage treasure trove. Aisleyne Horgan Wallace was barely recognisable and reportedly suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction a few moments later.

The Night did however belong to Keisha who reinforced her credits as the nations favourite Sugababe.

We had to dig hard to find a copy of Keisha’s stunning shoot in this week’s Celeb Magazine (Sunday Mirror). It would appear that either there was a short supply or people were bulk buying.

It was an embarrassing climb down for Nicole Scherzinger who announced via Twitter that she and Racing Driver Lewis Hamilton were not ‘Engaged’ as reported over the weekend.

Nicole tweeted, “Lewis and I woke up this morning and read we were engaged! Sorry to disappoint u all but its not true.”

The reports were based on an alleged interview with the former Pussycat Doll’s father

Kim Kardashion fragrance launch was marred by scenes of violence and chaos outside of the Oxford Street branch of Debenhams in London.

A reporter said: “Kim Kardashion was escorted from a side entrance but her car was nowhere to be seen. She was stranded, the crowd surged forward and staff went on the offensive, most were not even wearing any form of visible identity.

“Not only were several fans reportedly man-handled but two photographers were assaulted by over eight staff members including one who was placed in a stranglehold and another reportedly punched in the face.”

“There appeared to be limited experience of crowd control. The reports of violence happened on a public right of way therefore any form of physical contact amongst staff is an abuse of power.”

A photographer said: “We’re experienced in working with celebrities; they are in the UK for one reason, to get publicity. Inexperienced staff equals major liability.

Paparazzi thrive on chaos, Debenham staff  tried to stop us from getting pictures by placing their hands all over our cameras and when this didn’t work they resorted to violence. If they were policemen they would have been on disciplinary charges the fact that they were  representing Debenhams makes it even worse.

Some teenage girls were crying after they were crushed onto a parked motorbike. If it is proved that those involved did not possess the relative qualifications there is a likely hood that some staff could face assault charges, pictures of those involved have reportedly now been taken.”

Staff tried to stop these pictures from being taken however all attempts failed and they resorted to violence.

Alexandra Burke rock’s Biker Chic

Last month we revealed Alexandra’s fantastic new ‘Biker- Chic’ look however Alexandra is now officially a Biker Chic as we can now reveal.

Donning leathers, Alexandra hitched a ride on a Virgin Courier motorbike outside of the LWT TV studios in London.

Despite all the rush Alexandra still found time to spring a surprise on one of her fans when she presented her with a Birthday Cake.

Alexandra was not so worried about her hair under a crash helmet, however the heavy biker jacket was a little un flattering.

    Fantasia displays raw talent despite injury

Not everything in America is bigger or necessarily better, however, Fantasia’s performance at the London 02 Arena last night was a reflection of just how big and high the standard obtained for American Idol really is.

Despite being in physical pain, Fantasia rose above her injury to captivate her capacity audience with a fantastic live performance. “We have many shows here but that girl can really really sing.” said a security guard on the front-desk.

Some of the biggest names in showbiz glam-med up for the annual glitzy Glamour Awards in London last night.

Boy band JLS were joined by musicians including Jessie J, Alexandra Burke, The Saturdays, Keri Hilson and American Kim Kardashian.

Down  to  earth, Sugababes walked from the Mayfair Hotel to the awards ceremony in Berkeley Square. They were joined for the entire distance by paparazzi. “I think you’ve got enough pictures by now.” said a friend.

“I think you’ll find that we will be the best judge of that.” retorted a paparazzi.

We’re not supposed to have favourites in bands but if we were then Vanessa is right up there. Vanessa White probably the most understated band member of the Saturdays is reportedly very popular amongst the paps and the press.

Jennifer Hudson was in fine form as she launched her new album ‘I Remember Me’ at the IVY restaurant in Soho, London.

Some of the UK’s top showbiz talent attended the official London launch of Jennifer Hudson’s album, I Remember Me.

The launch which felt like more of a party included talent: solo artist Keisha Buchanan (founding member of Sugababes), Shingai Shoniwa (Noisettes), solo artist Paloma Faith, Kanya King (MOBO), Skin (Skunkananzi) and so many more.

If there was any talk of celebs upstaging celebs on the fashion-front there really was only one  winner on this night.

Having given her all at this launch by performing three songs, Jennifer Hudson was ready for bed.

Since her arrival at Heathrow airport on Sunday morning, London paparazzi teams have been following the award winning artist /actress Jennifer Hudson and tracking her every move.

A slimmed down Jennifer who in recent years has had to come to terms with a terrible family tragedy which cost the lives of her mother, brother and nephew looked radiant as  London basked in tropical temperatures. “Even though Jenny’s schedule is hectic – we absolutely love London.” said her manager to Flyer News.

“It’s fair to say that UK newspaper publications have been slow to catch on however with over six photo agencies working around the clock Jennifer will almost certainly figure favourably in next weeks glossies.” stated Mark Weir.

There was however some confusion on Monday when photographers who arrived in Mayfair to snap Jennifer spotted the Sugababes and became completely distracted.  

“I don’t know whether it was the hot weather but we were so fixed on Amelle and Jade that we were caught completely off guard when Jennifer hudson arrived at the same hotel. She was wearing an amazing figure hugging dress but none of us got a good clear picture.”

There was however some amusement when Jennifer wrote on Twitter the following day:  “Today I’m doing photoshops in London.”

She later re-tweeted- “No guys I meant I’m in a photoshoot here in London.” She also said that she hoped to inspire someone today and wished everyone a good morning.

Some of the UK’s finest acts were drawn together for one night only to celebrate one of the most prestigious nights on the Asian music calendar.

The Asian Music Awards (AMA) took place at Royal Festival Hall and it  was a chance to celebrate and reflect on another successful year for Asian music.  This year’s event had much to celebrate but the ceremony was really about one person, Jay Sean.

Jay Sean won four awards for Best Album, Best Male, Best Urban Act and Best Video. Hounslow born - Jay Sean epitomizes the strength, talent and breadth of the Asian community and its ability to cross-over effectively into other genres.

Amar won the Best Female, Imran Khan won Best Desi Act and Best Newcomer was JK.

At the front-of-house Champaign was flowing freely but back-stage if there was any sign of nervous tension then it was barely visible.

Styling for the AMA’s does however present a dilemma for some UK artists. There was an abundance of traditional clothes on display but whilst ‘first generation’ people tended to go for traditional garments, others opted to go for styles that reflected their audience.

Actress and singer Preeya Kalidas who’s starred in East is East, Bend it like Beckham and Eastenders said:  “I’ve designed this dress myself and although it’s taken me two whole days to complete it allows me to be more adventurous and creative.”

Jaya sought out ‘Fresh-Strawberry’ (Marketing and PR) agency to come up with an original but stylish dress to fit the occasion. With clients who’ve included La-Toya Jackson and MOBO CEO Kanya King and Sabrina Washington, Fresh Strawberry CEO Sade Salami said: “We’ve literally had only 24hrs to meet Jaya’s brief. The UK AMA Awards presents a unique challenge and Jaya’s final choice of dress truly complimented her figure.

She is beautiful and confident. The dress, a statement couture outfit by Georgie W Couture SS10 collection is a show stopper. Jaya completed this look with ultra defined eyes and splash of cherry tomato colour on the lips She oozed class and confidence.”

Other guests included:  Amar Dhanjan who won Best Female Act, BBC presenter Sonia Deol and the shows host Sophie Choudry.

So who really did rock during London Fashion Week?

If there was a prize for ‘The most visited shows’ then Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts would’ve achieved first place. She was mobbed by fans and then posed for some pictures with representatives campaigning for more models from diverse backgrounds.

Keeping it in the family, Peaches and sister Pixie Geldof daughters of Bob Geldof shared their time equally. ‘FLYSPY’ spotted the girls at Henry Holland, Pam Hogg and Unique but we suspect they visited many more. Pixie was joined by pals Alexa Chung and Remi Nicole at Unique.

Older sibling Peaches was snapped at Pam Hogg.

Talloula Adejemi the UK’s favourite model of the moment was spotted at Vivien Westwood, Amanda Wakely, PPQ and Fashion for Relief. She was joined by X-Factor babe- Alexandra Burke.

Pixie Lott was snapped at PPQ and rocked in metallic turquoise.

Noisettes front women Shingai Shinowa was the star attraction at Basso and Brooke.

The Saturdays were spotted at Jaeger.

The Sugagababes were spotted leaving Jasper Conran’s fantastic show.

Naomi Harris was snapped arriving at Viv Westwood’s show, Kate Moss tried to leave discretely but dropped her handbag. Paparazzi seized on the moment.

Kate reportedly said… “Not even one paparazzo offered to hand me back my bag.”
