Long after the lights had dimmed on her spectacular fashion launch at Selfridges London, Queen of pop Beyonce went on a shopping spree at her favourite London store and FLYER was there to catch it.

It was close to midnight and with virtually all Selfridges staff out of the building Beyonce made her move onto the shop floor.

It was reported there was a loud  scream and someone shouted “OMG it’s Beyonce,” crowds  gathered on the street as Beyonce was spotted browsing though various collections.

As crowds grew Beyonce looked up and made her way over to greet the masses of mainly teenage girls who were at the window.

Beyonce who recently announced she is pregnant stayed on the shop floor for half an hour before heading off to a exclusive after party at Chelsea Football Club.

Beyonce’s much anticipated expansion into to the world of fashion began at 9.pm on the top floor of Selfridges with the European launch of ‘House of Dereon.’

Models adorned in African print walked the runway including Solenge Knowles. Whether the show lived up to the hype is debatable. One celeb we spoke to said. “Maybe because it is Beyonce I expected more and I was a bit disappointed.”

Another said: “It was awesome, these were the hottest tickets in town and I was just grateful to have been invited.”

Celebs who attended this event included Paloma Faith, Eliza Doolittle, Rosario Dawson, Rita Ora, Alexandra Burke, Ellie Golding, Chipmunk, Wretch 32 and many more.

The fashion show lasted for approximately one hour and most of the press and media scurried away to send off their reports and pictures. For some who hung back there was another exclusive photo opportunity with Queen Bey.

Slipping under the radar today was undisputed king of bling aka P-Diddy (Sean Combs). Diddy used twitter to make his first command: ‘I’m looking for Skepta  and Chipmunk Artist, hit them up and tell them (there) big brother is in town and to call my cel!!!). We will excuse the typos.

P Diddy was reportedly spotted earlier in the day with Reggae artist Sean Paul. P- Diddy worked the afternoon for a voluntary charity to which he will being doing a charity gig at Wembley stadium on Tuesday.

For the pap’s waiting in Soho, they didn’t have to wait long before P-Diddy emerged from his hotel.

P Diddy’s driver enquired why fifteen paparazzi were reduced to three in five minutes. We can reveal that Beyonce is back in town and pictured shopping in Selfridges. Other paps headed West in pursuit of Kelis and Dirty Money.

What better way to kick start the new year than a trip down to Selfridge’s concept store in central London and visit their nineties inspired retail experience.

The concept store will present an edit of original nineties and nineties inspired products across fashion, accessories, lifestyle, beauty, design, music, media and film.

The nineties project an eclectic mash-up of influences, where the nihilism of Generation X met the hedonism of the 24 hour party people.

Celebrities who attended this exclusive launch included Radio One Xtra DJ: Sarah Jane Parker, Pixie Geldof, Designer – Henry Holland and the fabulous Noisette front women Shingai Shoniwa who said: “I have decided to give my hair a rest. It feels like my hair has become an extra member of the band. I’m tired of going to bed with pins in my hair.”
