Popstar and X Factor judge Kelly Rowland is literally counting down the minutes to the X Factor finals this weekend. Before the final preparation begun, Kelly who is the global Ambassador for TW Steel oversized watches kicked off with a celebrity party at the Box night-club in Soho. Accompanying Kelly was X Factor contestant Amelia Lily.

The past few months have been a steep lurning curve for Kelly Rowland who was subjected to intense media scrutiny. Kelly and Tulisa have grown before the press.

Kelly is yet to reveal her plans for 2012. Speaking at last-nights press conference Kelly braved the media mêlée who’d assembled to interview her.

Kelly was in full praise of her last remaining act, 17 year old Amelia Lily.

Amelia Lily however was not in the mood for interviews and said, “Oh no not her again….” when she spotted a tabloid reporter.

Other guests included Kelly’s good friend Estelle.

Estelle who now resides in New York has been in London for just over a week. The two friends clearly had a lot of news to catch up with.

Estelle also joined Kelly Rowland and former Destiny’s Child band mate Michelle Williams briefly at a private party in Mayfair this week.

Other guests included the fabulously talented Dionne Bromfield, Bashy and Wretch 32.

Now some people say you should avoid working with either children or animals, especially when they are three times your weight and on twice your height. That didn’t stop celeb Tara Palmer Tompkinson from indulging in a little horse-play.

The horse however wasn’t willing to have his teeth examined by Tara and several minutes later let Tara know exactly what he thought of that at a Polo launch in Kensington.

The heart beat of this years X Factor Misha B was finally switched off when the British public voted off the shows strongest contestant – the one and only Misha B. The result was not a shock but will raise doubts on whether the show is a credible showcase for talent or just another game-show.

Before tonight’s semi-final show, X Factor Judge Kelly Rowland said to Misha: “Win or lose – you’re still a winner.”

Judges friends and supporters had been prepping Misha to “Hope for the best but to prepare for the worst.”

Gary Barlow said: “Because of all the lies that were said about you you’re not going to win the show.”

With two X Factor judges having falsely accused  the star of bullying and a sustained attack by a well known red-top newspaper Misha B’s cards were marked many month’s ago.

“It’s common knowledge the media is rooting for Little Mix as there is more mileage in gossip column’s. Unfortunately the questions on whether the X Factor is a credible showcase for talent or just another game-show will be the hot topic of debate.

Misha B is almost certainly the hottest star of the competion however her true talent is unlikely to be recognnised in the UK. Misha could be a huge success in the US.” said Flyer’s Mark Weir.

Seeing her dreams shattered on Sunday night, X Factor’s Kitty drew a deep breadth before meeting the press this morning. Arriving at LWT TV studios in the early hours, Kitty seemed a shadow of the person that wowed audiences across the UK as she embarked on her week of press interviews.

Kitty’s ability to sing was never in doubt from the start, Kitty’s  inability to connect with the public was according to some the reason for her premature exit, “Kitty’s nine lives finally ran out.” said an X Factor spokesperson.”

Judges Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos used their vote to kick Kitty from the completion and save contender Misha B. Louis Walsh Kitty’s mentor was the only judge to have ruled in Kitty’s favour.

Flyer’s showbiz insider said: “Everyone in puzzled why Misha continues to be on the bottom of the ladder. She is so young but raising her morale after so many knock-backs shows her pedigree, she is a fighter.”

Misha has survived an unprecedented verbal assault by X Factor’s Louis Walsh and Tulisa but continues to grow.

“Misha could walk into a recording contract tomorrow regardless of the X Factor results and she knows it,” commented our showbiz insider

Former Atomic Kitten’s Kerry Katona was out and about in London. Kerry popped into the ITV studios in Waterloo.

Egged on by the paparazzi Kerry reportedly traded jokes and posed for pictures.

Part-time model, Amy Anselle, 23, has been crowned Miss Flavour 2011 at a star studded party at the Cafe De Paris London.

Speaking to Flyer, the French born model said: “It was really emotional when my name was read out. It has been a very long day of rehearsals and I’m just relieved to have won.”

Amy did however face some stiff opposition.

Judges deliberated for over half an hour before Amy’s was revealed as the winner.

As well as appearing on the front cover of Flavour Magazine, Amy who was raised in Toulouse, France will also be given a chance to become the Face of Sleek Hair.

Amy also won a bag of goodies courtesy of Palmers and Sleek Hair & Make-up.

Artists Chipmunk said: “It feels great to be giving back, Flavour Magazine have supported me from the start.

Celebrating Flavour Magazine’s Fifth Anniversary stars including Solo artist Chipmunk, Miss English, Sway, Kojo, BB, Sarah-Jane Crawford and Egypt were amongst the VIP guests.

With the party over for another year the night belong to the Miss Flavour Girls who will battle it out for Flavour Magazine’s Sixth Anniversary next year.

Kelly Rowland was in a positive mood yesterday despite falling behind in the tabloid ratings. Close aids have rallied behind the former Destiny’s Child star whose absence from last weeks X Factor show caused much media speculation.

Close friends accepted the fact that “Kelly needs to do a lot more” if she is to win over public opinion. Flyer’s showbiz insider said:  “Kelly has arguably the most credibility on the judging panel but is not used to being on the wrong side of the British media.

Tulisa is younger and she understands the media game. She also has a team of advisers and even her own paparazzo who keeps the tabloids updated with exclusive pictures. How else do you think that those super slim line candid pictures of Tulisa in Ibiza hit the magazines?

On the other hand Kelly’s reclusive showbiz lifestyle keeps her out of the press, she is popular but will need to become far more visible if she is going to build on her public profile.”

There was much praise for Alexandra Burke who also attended this event. Bully-boy tactics from Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow to who tried desperately on last week’s X Factor to undermine Alexandra’s opinion exposed their true colours.

Harvey who’s perhaps Misha’s biggest fan said: “I just love Misha Bee – she is just at another level. It doesn’t matter what they say about Misha you can’t take away her talent, they’re just jealous.”

X Factor warning: Fans who’ve been visiting Fountain Studios in Wembley have recently been targeted by muggers. Flyer reports: street crimes have included the theft at knife point of laptops, mobile-phones, jewellery clothing and accessories.

Pop star Peter Andre attended Disney’s Christmas celebrations he was snapped exiting the party with his daughter Princess Tiaamii in Oxford Street, London.

Alexandra Burke spent the day at TalkTalk HQ in Broadwick Street where she met with her fans and announced that this years X Factor final will be held at Wembley Arena in front of an audience of thousands.

Not only is TalkTalk the title sponsor for both the TV show and the live finals at Wembley but  they also reportedly plan to giveaway 100 tickets every day for 100 days to TalkTalk customers in the build up towards the grand finale.

X Factor Winner Alexandra was a big hit with the public today and proving that singing isn’t her only quality, Alexandra was wearing one of her self-styled watches which are available from Argos. Alexandra also co-owns a clothing label with top ’Boy Band’ JLS.

Alexandra’s announcement is not the only change to the popular TV show. The new  judging panel has been revamped. With Cheryl Cole, Danni Minogue and Simon Cowell not returning, Tulisa Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland and Gary Barlow now head up the much coveted judges panel alongside original judge Louis  Walsh.

Paula and Peter Imafidon both 11 years old await their A levels results in Computing this Thursday. They are the sister and brother of Anne Marie Imafidon who gained her Master degree from Oxford University last week.

All the Imafidon kids studied for their A levels and GCSE’s at the Wilson Foundation on the Excellence in Education programme run by their Father. They have a sister who is 13 years who is also waiting for her A level result in Computing this Thursday. The twins already  gained  GCSE’s in ICT and Maths at the age of 7 years. They also have gained their Foundation in Advanced Maths exam. All the family live in East London with their Parents.

Former Destiny’s Child vocalist and UK XFactor Judge Kelly Rowland turned heads whilst shopping at River Island in London today.

The XFactor beauty taking timeout ahead of this week’s London auditions for XFactor indulged in a spot of retail therapy at River Island in Oxford Street today.

Kelly clearly knew what she was looking for and selected a number of items from River Island’s Spring/Summer collections. Kelly was shopping for over an hour.

A staff member said: “We were really surprised to see Kelly Rowland here today; it took us completely by surprise. Kelly looks beautiful in pictures but really stunning in person.”

The Mayfair Hotel in London was plunged into controversy on Thursday night after night-staff locked out guests who included Kelly Rowland and Angela Simmons. Around 3.38am hotel staff locked the main doors leaving many guests stranded and exposed to freezing temperatures but as Mark Weir from FLYER News explains the situation could have been so much worse.

Arriving back to the hotel at 3.30am Kelly Rowland was forced to stay in her car for several minutes and Media Mogul Rev. Runs daughter Angela Simmons was seen knocking on the door trying to get the hotel staff’s attention.

“With so many high profiled people walking in and out of this hotel, the lapse in security leaving celebrities out in freezing cold temperatures and exposed to undesirables is mind-boggling.” said Mark Weir from FLYER News. “We all saw what happened with Leona Lewis, imagine the unthinkable and a celebrity getting into difficulties because they were locked out of their hotel?” exclaimed Mark Weir.

When contacted a spokeswomen representing the hotel claimed: “Staff made the decision to lock the doors to keep out people from a local nightclub.”

Earlier in the evening Kelly Rowland and Angela Simmons attended a charity MTV fundraiser at the Westbury Hotel before heading back to Aura nightclub where Angela Simmons was promoting her footwear range Pastry.

Other guests who attended the footwear launch included Esmee Denters and Louise Litton. 

Following on the back of Minaj-Mania another young prodigy, Angela Simmons flew into London yesterday afternoon.

Over eight paparazzi descended on the Mayfair Hotel to snap pictures of Angela Simmons, daughter of Rev. Run (Run DMC) and niece of entrepreneur Russell Simmons who was visiting the UK with her friend Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland.

Angela, a star of the hit American reality TV show went out to party at Movida night spot on Wednesday night wearing a daring Mark Fast type knitted bodycon dress.

Wearing bright orange trousers, matching Channel shoes and handbag on Thursday, American Fashionista Angela was turning heads as she walked down Mayfair this lunchtime.

A budding entrepreneur in her own making, Angela already has her own footwear line, this snappy young lady was not only looking sharp but showed her entrepreneurial spirit by turning tales on the paparazzi.

Whipping out her red Pentax camera and still managing to take pictures despite wearing sunglasses it’s no wonder the London paparazzi were having a feeding frenzy.

Kelly Rowland’s pre dinner date at NOBO nearly ended in tragedy when a paparazzi narrowly escaped being hurt when he ran into the path of a motor-vehicle whilst snapping the U.S. superstar.

Kelly looked shocked but the photographer escaped without serious injury.

Wearing a metallic cat-suit, Kelly was heading towards NOBO in Mayfair before heading towards P-Diddy’s party in Whisky Mist.

P-Diddy arrives back at the Mayfair hotel and is clearly in the mood to party. PD strolled around the hotel as if he owned the place before taking a detour to Park Lane’s Whisky Mist.

That detour took over one hour to cover less than a mile and Diddy’s bouncers had to battle with forty paparazzi. P- Diddy greeted everyone in the VIP area.

Things weren’t looking good for Brian Lara (cricketer).

“I don’t care who he says he is….I’m not going to loose my job letting in Mr. Lara.” said a man on the door.

“You will definitely loose it if you don’t let him in.” said a reporter. The club’s questionable door policy did not go down well, FLYER has obtained video interviews to support this claim.
