The rumour mill was spun into overdrive when Ashley Cole exited the Mayfair Hotel locked into a deep conversation in-front of dozens of paparazzi.

Not even a bevy of beauties who accompanied the soccer player and his entourage could divert Ashley Cole’s attention away from his phone.

Sharing centre stage with Ashley included soccer players Ledley King, Jermaine Defoe, John Terry and Jermaine Pennant.

Also joining them was the glamorous model Tabby Brown and a number of Reality TV stars.

Sharing centre stage with the premier players were ‘Structured Reality TV’ stars Harry Derbridge and Amy Childs. They were snapped heading to Harry’s debut Jewellery launch at the Jewel Bar in Piccadilly.

Also at the Mayfair was former Atomic Kitten vocalist Kerry Katona and Mel B’s younger sister (Actress) Danielle Brown.  The pair were in fits of giggles after a paparazzi reportedly thought Kerry’s name was Rebbecca he got upset when she, Kerry didn’t respond.

Fresh from her overseas trip to Afghanistan, Cheryl Cole put her best foot forward last night when she attended the Stylistpic launch party in central London.

Cheryl Cole is collaborating with Stylisticpic, a  web  based organisation who are producing a new capsule shoe due to launch this December.

First to arrive at this exclusive party was Girls Aloud vocalist Nicola Roberts.

Although the address of this event was embargoed, somehow over twenty paparazzi discovered the secret location. With so many paparazzi drawn away from London Fashion Week’s official schedule, there were fears that Cheryl was going to use either the backdoor or a side entrance.

When Cheryl arrived at 10.pm and there was chaos. Barriers were knocked over and some press photographers who’s been waiting several hours coud not get a look in as paparazzi clashed amongst  themselves.

Britain’s finest  export – Estelle is pictured arriving at Radio One this morning. “When the call came through we were very surprised, it’s unusual for celebs to slip undetected into London,” said a Paparazzi.

It would appear that not only were the papparazzi surprised but many some people  at the radio station were also unaware.

Brimming from ear to ear with a full-on Bling set of nails, Estelle was spotted by some workers and posed for pictures.

A photographer we spoke to said: “If I’d known she was here I would have pulled off snapping David Cameron at Radio Two.

Cheryl and Ashley Cole reunited?

Sources close to Flyer have cast doubt on this reunification as being a  done-deal. As we speak snappers are scouring parts  of the US. looking for Ashley who is holidaying with footie mates.

“Right now news of reunification seems a little way,” off said a Flyer source.

 ”In-fact we’re surprised at the news reports we’ve seen especially as journo’s exactly know what the real deal is.” said a Flyer source.

The West Coast rapper, here in London to promote his eleventh studio album Doggumentary at a gig in Kentish Town was greeted by scores of fans who’d managed to track him down to the St Martins Lane Hotel. Snoop Dogg even found time in London to chat about plans on creating a Hip-Hop version of XFactor.

Speaking to a reporter he said: “I’m looking for a deal from a network to find America’s hottest hood artists.”

Asked what he thought of pop star Cheryl Cole, who has recently signed up to be a judge on the US version of the XFactor Snoop Dogg replied: “She alright. She doing her thing. She a little bit hardcore, a bit edgy.”

Snoop could well be back here in the UK  for the Gamball Rally if Flyer’s sources are to be confirmed.

Standing outside of St Martins Lane Hotel at 11.pm is not everyone’s cup-of tea. Fans, paparazzi, reporters and spectators were dwarfed by Snoops entourage. Snoop himself who is six foot four was dwarfed by his man-mountain of a security guard.

“Snoop will see each and every one of you if you do things our way.” said his personal security officer as they linked arms to create a causeway between the club and the car. This largely worked to some extent but somehow at least two paparazzi broke though the chain.

Taking less than two minutes, fans took pictures with the American but for some the chance encounter was too overwhelming.

The cavalcade of vehicles with paparazzi in hot pursuit took the back street route to night club Movida . They were joined by some Chelsea footballers.

Stars, Naomi Harris, Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl Cole, Connie Huq, Denise Lewis and VV Brown were amongst those that gathered at the star studied Prince’s Trust and L’Oreal Paris ceremony which recognises young people who have overcome challenges such as abuse, depression, addiction and homelessness to achieve success with the youth charity’s support.

If there was one criticism it would be that the press release handed out to photographers did not include any references to African or Caribbean celebrities who were amongst the guests.

 Naomi Harris pictured who has appeared in Miami Vice and starred in Pirates of The Caribbean and more recently ‘Small Island’ was amongst the popular guests on the red carpet.

Prince’s Trust organisers gave in to Cheryl Cole’s diva demands; the X Factor judge drove in through the backdoor entrance much to the dismay of her fans. “We’ve been queuing for three hours.” said one fan from South London.

Award season is now coming to an end and as so too is London Fashion week. The following posts are an overview of events around town.

The Save The Children TV campaign in nearly over and at the press conference Alexandra Burke proved a  natural with children. Whilst  other celebs struggled to keep things  under control Alexandra took control of the situation.

BAFTA awards are over for another year, Samuel L Jackson, Tandie Newton, Helena Bonham – Carter and Sarah Harding were amongst guest at this years event. This seasons colours appeared  to be red or white.

Katie price launched Day 22 fashion label. She said: “I was rejected by many household names in the world of fashion so I decided to launch my own label. Day 22 was named after by Birthday, I was born on the 22nd of May.”

Katie’s new label is doing well although fashion editors weren’t exactly over whelmed with this collection.

With only three weeks to go X Factor contestants are beginning to show the signs of stress.

Cher Lloyd did her best to look sad following the exit of Paije. It didn’t last long and Cher was back to being Cher in no time.

Wagner snapped at photographers which is a bad sign. “At least the public love me.” He said whilst being booed by paparazzi waiting at the studio gates.

Not only did Matt Cardle look down he also looked out-of it. Puffing on his cigarette and clutching his cider, Matt looked like he’d been on a heavy night out in Camden. The gentrified builder / decorator hit a few monumentally ‘builder’s – bum’ notes on Saturday and faces a tough week to reinforce his contention credentials.

The not so camera shy Rebecca is still one of our favourites to win and regularly enjoys a good old banter with paparazzi. She is the ‘One-to-watch ‘according to her fellow contestants. Rebecca does not appear to flap under pressure which is an attribute.

However, Mary, Katie and Rebecca looked like they were off the set of Emmerdales rather than at the X Factor studios.

Katie’s biggest attribute is she understands the media. Regularly keeping the paparazzi updated on her whereabouts she has become a firm favourite to reach the final stages in the press. Changing her image was a stroke of genius and grabbed a few more magazine headlines.

We’re not too sure why Sinitta was looking stressed last night she still looked lovely in her black all in one.

Cheryl Cole quite understandably is feeling the pressure. Her rant with Wagner did not go down well in media land but she did manage to give the togs a wee smile.

Fresh faced Treyc  is now planning a move to London to further her career.

Celebrating its 30th birthday – The BRIT Awards 2010 with MasterCard will showcase the sheer depth and diversity of British and International music talent from the past year’s big releases. The big night out in the British music calendar will take place at London’s Earls Court Arena on Tuesday 16 February and screened live to millions on ITV1.

Featured in the nominations list is an eclectic and impressive range of artists who have enjoyed success both in the UK and around the world in 2009. Their achievements have been recognised by the 1000 strong BRITs Academy. The nominations in twelve categories were announced at a media packed launch party, hosted by Radio 1’s Fearne Cotton, at London’s indigO2.

Leading the way with three BRIT nominations each are a quartet of pops finest ladies, UK’s Florence & The Machine, Lily Allen, Pixie Lott and that all American phenomenon Lady Gaga. They will be going head to head in a battle of the females. Having been crowned the most successful selling artist of 2009, with her single ‘Poker Face,’ Lady Gaga makes her BRIT Awards nominations debut with a well-deserved three nominations. Short listed for International Female Solo Artist, International Breakthrough Act and International Album for ‘The Fame’, Lady Gaga will look to be one of the most coveted International acts at The BRITs for many years.

Coming out on top with her critically acclaimed second album ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ Lily Allen takes three nominations, going up against Florence & The Machine for British Female Solo Artist, MasterCard British Album and British Single of the Year for ‘The Fear’. UK newcomer Pixie Lott has stormed the charts with her debut single ‘Mama Do’ which goes up against La Roux, JLS, Lily Allen and Cheryl Cole amongst others for British Single of the Year. Pixie is also nominated for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.

The Anglo American battle will be heavily fought between Dizzee Rascal and American heavy-weight Jay-Z who received double nominations. Dizzee Rascal, heralded as bringing Grime back to the forefront of UK music – paving the way for artists such as N-Dubz and Tinchy Stryder, goes for a win in the categories for British Male Solo Artist and MasterCard British Album. Standing in Dizzee’s way in the British Male Solo Artist category are Calvin Harris, Mika, Robbie Williams and Scotland’s finest, Paolo Nutini who is a two-time nominee. Paolo is also nominated for his superb ‘Sunny Side Up’ album in the MasterCard British Album category.

To celebrate The BRIT Awards 30th anniversayr, The BRITs 2010 will see two retrospective categories introduced to pay homage to the biggest selling album successes and most memorable live performances of the past 30 years.

The ‘BRITs Memorable Performance of 30 Years’ Award will see a shortlist of stunning live performances from BRITs history showcased on a special ‘BRITs Hits 30’ television special broadcast by ITV1 on Saturday 23 January hosted by Mel B. Once aired, viewers will be able to vote online through the itv.com/brits and gm.tv websites with the winner being announced at the main show on 16 February at Earls Court.
