UK Singer/Songwriter and Producer Labrinth hosted a private pre-Brit party at Mosiaca Restaurant in North London. The party celebrating past present and future UK talent was held in association with luxury Swiss watchmaker brand Raymond Weil.

In fitting with the BRIT theme, dinning arrangements curated by head chef, Steve Goode included a very traditional British menu and bespoke cocktails. Live performances from Labrinth, Kyra, Bluey Robinson and Etta Bond further enhanced the ambiance of the occasion.

The guest list included singing sensations, Cover Drive, Alexandra Burke, Misha B, Tinnie Tempah, Etta Bond, Chipmunk, Emli Sande, Plan B, Rizzle Kicks, Little Mix, Mz Bratt, Parade, Tali Lennox, Mr Hudson, Gary Numan and Devlin.

Touring talent Cover Drive were well received at this showbiz party. Music producer Mr. Hudson was so impressed he even hitched a taxi back to central London with the Bajan sensations.

Little Mix have been keeping a low profile as of late which has not gone down well with their fans or some sections of the press. Their press agent reportedly pleaded with a photographers not to take their pictures when they exited the venue.

 Misha B’s in the house.  In contrast to Little Mix, the not so shy Misha B was all smiles when she arrived at the Mosaica Restaurant in London. Judging by the media frenzy you could easily have thought that it was Misha who had won X Factor.

Speaking to Flyer News Misha B said: “I have some really exciting news to share with my friends but they are going to have to wait a little while longer before I tell them.”

Popstar Alexandra Burke rocked a new glam look for her glittering performance at the ASDA Tickled Pink Girls’ Night Out concert in London.

Arriving around 9.30pm Alexandra was all smiles as she greeted fans before her performance.

Following the concert, Jodie an Alexandra Burke fan said: “Alexandra performed for almost an hour, the performance including her backing dancers was on-point.”

Alexandra Burke who is known for her fine taste in fashion and style found time visit the Hakuna Matata Spa in Westfield Shepherd’s Bush and indulge in a spot retail therapy.

Indulging in a full day of pampering might well be ideal for most however Alexandra Burke also found the time to join in the celebrations with the release of  The Lion King: Diamond Edition on Disney Blu-ray DVD.

The Hakuna Matata Spa pop-up spa located in front of the Disney Store provided a unique opportunity for shoppers to unwind from the stresses of shopping.

Stressed out shoppers received free hair styling, makeup and for the kids face painting courtesy of Disney’s the Lion King.

Celebs Tinie Tempah and Alexandra Burke attended the Just Dance3 DVD launch in Park Lane London.

Proving that life can extend beyond fifteen minutes of fame, they were joined by recent X Factor stars Two Shoes.

N-Dubz who as Flyer exclusively revealed in August are set to have a two year break to concentrate on their solo projects. Dappy said: ‘Tulisa is assigned to X Factor and in two years time the demand for N Dubz will be such that we will reform.’

Joining Dappy and N Dubz were industry talent, Sarah Jane-Crawford, Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk, Emmanuel, Dionne Bromfield, Jade Ewen (Sugababes) and many more.

Sparking rumours of a rekindled relationship Tulisa and Fazer arrived together in a white Phantom Rolls-Royce.

Had it not been for the likes of Alexandra Burke and Pixie Lott, the Quintessential Awards would have to go down as the most disappointing events of the year so far.

Not only were some of the UK’s largest photo-agencies turned away at the door, but the three page wish-list of stars billed to turn up amouted to only a hand-ful.

A photographer siad: “This isthe second time this  has heppened with regards  this PR Agency. To exclude so many photo-agencies and in such  away is just not good PR.”

Long after the lights had dimmed on her spectacular fashion launch at Selfridges London, Queen of pop Beyonce went on a shopping spree at her favourite London store and FLYER was there to catch it.

It was close to midnight and with virtually all Selfridges staff out of the building Beyonce made her move onto the shop floor.

It was reported there was a loud  scream and someone shouted “OMG it’s Beyonce,” crowds  gathered on the street as Beyonce was spotted browsing though various collections.

As crowds grew Beyonce looked up and made her way over to greet the masses of mainly teenage girls who were at the window.

Beyonce who recently announced she is pregnant stayed on the shop floor for half an hour before heading off to a exclusive after party at Chelsea Football Club.

Beyonce’s much anticipated expansion into to the world of fashion began at 9.pm on the top floor of Selfridges with the European launch of ‘House of Dereon.’

Models adorned in African print walked the runway including Solenge Knowles. Whether the show lived up to the hype is debatable. One celeb we spoke to said. “Maybe because it is Beyonce I expected more and I was a bit disappointed.”

Another said: “It was awesome, these were the hottest tickets in town and I was just grateful to have been invited.”

Celebs who attended this event included Paloma Faith, Eliza Doolittle, Rosario Dawson, Rita Ora, Alexandra Burke, Ellie Golding, Chipmunk, Wretch 32 and many more.

The fashion show lasted for approximately one hour and most of the press and media scurried away to send off their reports and pictures. For some who hung back there was another exclusive photo opportunity with Queen Bey.

Alexandra Burke spent the day at TalkTalk HQ in Broadwick Street where she met with her fans and announced that this years X Factor final will be held at Wembley Arena in front of an audience of thousands.

Not only is TalkTalk the title sponsor for both the TV show and the live finals at Wembley but  they also reportedly plan to giveaway 100 tickets every day for 100 days to TalkTalk customers in the build up towards the grand finale.

X Factor Winner Alexandra was a big hit with the public today and proving that singing isn’t her only quality, Alexandra was wearing one of her self-styled watches which are available from Argos. Alexandra also co-owns a clothing label with top ’Boy Band’ JLS.

Alexandra’s announcement is not the only change to the popular TV show. The new  judging panel has been revamped. With Cheryl Cole, Danni Minogue and Simon Cowell not returning, Tulisa Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland and Gary Barlow now head up the much coveted judges panel alongside original judge Louis  Walsh.

Paula and Peter Imafidon both 11 years old await their A levels results in Computing this Thursday. They are the sister and brother of Anne Marie Imafidon who gained her Master degree from Oxford University last week.

All the Imafidon kids studied for their A levels and GCSE’s at the Wilson Foundation on the Excellence in Education programme run by their Father. They have a sister who is 13 years who is also waiting for her A level result in Computing this Thursday. The twins already  gained  GCSE’s in ICT and Maths at the age of 7 years. They also have gained their Foundation in Advanced Maths exam. All the family live in East London with their Parents.

Kim Kardashion fragrance launch was marred by scenes of violence and chaos outside of the Oxford Street branch of Debenhams in London.

A reporter said: “Kim Kardashion was escorted from a side entrance but her car was nowhere to be seen. She was stranded, the crowd surged forward and staff went on the offensive, most were not even wearing any form of visible identity.

“Not only were several fans reportedly man-handled but two photographers were assaulted by over eight staff members including one who was placed in a stranglehold and another reportedly punched in the face.”

“There appeared to be limited experience of crowd control. The reports of violence happened on a public right of way therefore any form of physical contact amongst staff is an abuse of power.”

A photographer said: “We’re experienced in working with celebrities; they are in the UK for one reason, to get publicity. Inexperienced staff equals major liability.

Paparazzi thrive on chaos, Debenham staff  tried to stop us from getting pictures by placing their hands all over our cameras and when this didn’t work they resorted to violence. If they were policemen they would have been on disciplinary charges the fact that they were  representing Debenhams makes it even worse.

Some teenage girls were crying after they were crushed onto a parked motorbike. If it is proved that those involved did not possess the relative qualifications there is a likely hood that some staff could face assault charges, pictures of those involved have reportedly now been taken.”

Staff tried to stop these pictures from being taken however all attempts failed and they resorted to violence.

Donning leathers, Alexandra hitched a ride on a Virgin Courier motorbike outside of the LWT TV studios in London.

Despite all the rush Alexandra still found time to spring a surprise on one of her fans when she presented her with a Birthday Cake.

Alexandra was not so worried about her hair under a crash helmet, however the heavy biker jacket was a little un flattering.

    Fantasia displays raw talent despite injury

Not everything in America is bigger or necessarily better, however, Fantasia’s performance at the London 02 Arena last night was a reflection of just how big and high the standard obtained for American Idol really is.

Despite being in physical pain, Fantasia rose above her injury to captivate her capacity audience with a fantastic live performance. “We have many shows here but that girl can really really sing.” said a security guard on the front-desk.

Some of the biggest names in showbiz glam-med up for the annual glitzy Glamour Awards in London last night.

Boy band JLS were joined by musicians including Jessie J, Alexandra Burke, The Saturdays, Keri Hilson and American Kim Kardashian.

Down  to  earth, Sugababes walked from the Mayfair Hotel to the awards ceremony in Berkeley Square. They were joined for the entire distance by paparazzi. “I think you’ve got enough pictures by now.” said a friend.

“I think you’ll find that we will be the best judge of that.” retorted a paparazzi.

We’re not supposed to have favourites in bands but if we were then Vanessa is right up there. Vanessa White probably the most understated band member of the Saturdays is reportedly very popular amongst the paps and the press.

The chequered flags were out in London for the thirteenth Gumball 3000 Rally. The Gumball Rally 3000 crosses 10 countries in 7 days including a glamorous pit stop for the Monaco F1.

This year’s competitors included Ruff Ryders first Lady Eve. Back on the grid for  the second time, the Billboard busting rapper whose hits include Let There Be Eve and her 2001 follow-up album, Scorpion, featuring the single  ‘Whose That Girl’ will be hopping to replicate the No.1 spot with her co-partner and founder Maximillion Cooper.

Competing for poll position include NFL All stars, Reggie Bush and Ndamukong Suh. Also hoping to put a dent in the oppositions chances of success will be American Rapper BunB.

MTV’s Dirty Sanchez aka Matt Pritchard and Lee Denton were lucky to make it to the starting line following some crazy pranks which ended in a fight in the back of a black cab which left one of them floored.

   The day after the night before

The night before was a raucous affair and come to think of it, it was a wonder anyone actually made it to the start. Eve arrived looking quite serene; she dropped her guard four hours later revealing her pink thong.

Guests Rnb talent  Royston, Aisha Mckenzie  Model agent and  choreographer, Mason Smillie, Publicist  Emmanuel, Dynamo, Vanessa White  (Saturdays) and the gorgeous Melody Thornton (Pussycat Dolls) were rocking at the Playboy club in Mayfair.

The following morning fresh faced and ready to rock Eve and her co/partner were ready to face the world and were the first to leave. Wearing less jewels than the previous year Eve was keeping a low profile. ‘It was an emotional send off.’ said an observer.

The roads now clear of Obama blockades the rally set off from Covent Garden, next stop Paris.

    Why paparazzi ‘called time’ on Thriller?

Thriller Live celebrated its  thousand performance however not everything went according to plan wit regards  to the press.

Shortly after these pictures were taken paparazzi walked out on the job leaving the show with the liklihood of limited exposure in the press.

Despite  so many events taking place on the same day the fact that at least eight photographers attended the event was a good result. However following what has to be the statement of  the year photographers downed tools and  walked.

“We simply had to call  time on Thriller Live following the comments made by  the front-desk .” said a  snapper.

“We were told aggresively that celebrities were  here to  see the play and not to do pictures so we all left, most of  us didn’t even bother to send in our pictures to the agencies.

“We can only conclude that Thriller Live does not need any  extra exposure in the press.”

Another photographer  said: “Why bother to  inform media agencies on which  celebrities were coming if they don’t want press.”

Patrick Allan from the Drifters who attended the after party at Planet  Hollywood said: “When I came to the  show last year there were so  many  photographers. Those comments should not  have been made, it does not make sense.”

Thriller Live had to compete on the day with events such as JLS video launch, Rebbecca Furguson at the Grosvenor, Paul Smith fragrance launch and Alexandra Burke at Mahike.

“Photographers will only go to events in which there is a strong likelihood that they can sell  in pictures. In reality Thriller is classified as niche market.” said Mark Weir from  Flyer Newspaper.
