The stage was set for Men in Black 3 which premiered in London’s Leicester Square. Despite London’s changeable weather patterns some movie fans ha d been waiting for over a day to meet Will Smith and co, they were not disappointed.

Sharing the limelight with Will Smith was Rock’s Royalty Jay-Z. The to men appeared happy to share centre stage as they responded to the warmth of the London crowd.

Jay –Z was the last guest to arrive and there was disbelief amongst fans and even the press who were slow to react.

Other guests included solo artist/actress Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton.

Throughout the week FLYER shadowed Will Smith as he promoted Men in Black III on Radio One and Two.

Will Smith also found time to greet some of the UK’s Olympic hopefuls including ‘Golden girl’ Perri Shakes-Drayton. Drayton also walked the blue carpet at the London premier of Men in Black 3.

Synopsis

The MIB duo of Agent Jay (Will Smith) and Agent Kay (Tommy Lee Jones) are back in action. When the world is threatened by an evil alien, Agent Jay travels back in time to 1969, where he teams up with the younger Agent Kay to stop an evil villain named Boris (Jemaine Clement) from destroying the world in the future. Emma Thompson also starred as take-charge MIB operative Agent Oh, who is monitoring a prison breakout.

Dedicated singer and TV personality Jessie J was spotted working overtime with her young TV hopefuls in a side road behind Oxford Street London ahead of the weekend show.

The star appeared not to be aware of the paparazzi as she fussed around them. Jessie also seemed to be giving advice to Tom Jones who appeared very concerned about something.

A snapper said: “There was something that was clearly spooking Tom Jones. He is usually very calm and aware of the press. Jessie appeared to be acting as an agony aunt.”

The Voice Judges later performed a duet at the 100 club in Soho.

Eventually Jessie spotted the paparazzi and Tom Jones played posed for the paparazzi.

Singer TV talent Alesha Dixon attended the pre BGT party in Westminster. Alesha was close to having a Marilyn Monroe moment when the wind played havoc with her dress.

Simon Cowell ran from his car through a side door trying to shield his face with a packet of cigarettes. the event was captured on video.

Simon now faces his biggest challenge promoting Dancing Dog Pudsey who was eventually chosen as the winner of Britain’s Got Talent.

Scores of screaming Johnny Depp fans descended on Leicester Square where the movie star attended the premier of Dark Skies which is directed by Tim Burton.

The life of Johnny Depp is clearly very theatrical; Johnny Depp’s personal security officer was clearly feeling the pressure when Johnny rode through Westminster with his window down.

The setting for the after party couldn’t have been better. Temple Place resembled a medieval castle and was decked in purple lights and vampire models

The pouring rain added to the sense of atmosphere and although scheduled to finish at 12.am Johnny kept the cleaners, staff and paparazzi up for a further two hours when he exited the venue at 2.am.

Dark Shadows stars Johnny Depp, Jackie Earle Haley, Eva Green, Bella Heathcote, Michelle Pfeiffer, Thomas McDonell, Gulliver McGrath, Chloe Moretz and Helena Bonham Carter.

Wearing a figure hugging Kim Wilde dress, and jewellery by Asprey, Rock Nation’s Rita Ora clearly set out to make an impact when she stepped out for the launch of R.I.P. in London.

For anyone who has known Rita for the past few years, networking really is her thing and this launch was somewhat of a celebration for those who’ve supported the star over the past few years.

With friends who include Drake and Tinie Tempah Rita really has a solid network of support.

The R.I.P press party was held at Asprey, Mayfair, and was attended by guests who included vocalist VV Brown and Pixie Geldof and Tinie Tempah.

Also launching her debut album this week was the fantastic Nigerian Artists May7ven. The 1st Lady of Afrobeats, May Yemisi Odegbami better known by her stage name May7ven (nicknamed a she was born on the 7th of May).

There’s much speculation that tomorrow, Monday the IOC lifetime ban which affects athletes such as Dwain Chambers could be lifted after reports the IOC has lost its case.

The court of arbitration for sport will announce on Monday its decision that the BOA’s bylaw does not comply with the World Anti-Doping Agency’s global code.

“The British Olympic Association can confirm that today, it has received from the Court of Arbitration for Sport the written decision in the arbitration between the BOA and the World Anti-Doping Association (Wada).”

Following a trip to California in 2002 Dwain tested positive for the banned steroid THG in 2003 and was suspended for two years. He later confessed to having taken a cocktail of banned substances.

IOC chief Colin Moynihan, last month reportedly stood firm that athletes such as Dwain would not compete at the 2012 Olympics however a recent survey revealed that the public were in support of Dwain returning to the GB Squad.

If as is expected that the IOC ban in uplifted athletes such as Dwain Chambers should they achieve the qualifying standard would be eligible to compete.

“Dwain has paid a very big price for a mistake he made as a young man, he has done his time both financially and personally but it’s now time to move on,” said a former member off Haringey Athletics club to Flyer Newspaper today.

American actor Zac Efron was spotted leaving a London Hotel this evening.  The American actor is here in London to promote the movie premier of  The Lucky One.

According to Paparazzi, “Zac appeared to be in a rush to get to the movie premier and did not stop for anybody.”

“We had a fraction of a second to get our pictures, there really wasn’t much of a window,” said a paparazzi.

Beiber fans mislead by media networking site

According to reports hundreds of fans were mislead by a message posted on Twitter by Heather O’Reilly ‏from social networking site Craven Gossip. 

Heather O’Reilly posted a mesage on Craven Gossip’s Twitter account: “Justin Bieber is at the Soho Hotel.”As a result throughout the afternoon school children continuously arrived at the Soho Hotel in London. They were expecting to see their idol Justin Bieber.

Not only were these details incorrect but even if they had been correct could have posed a considerable risk to the popstar and also young vulnerable people some of which were still in their school uniform.

A journalist who we spoke to today said: “Disclosing private details on celebrities with specifics about their whereabouts is incredibly irresponsible.

The spotlight is on the media with regards to the Leveson Inquiry and websites such as this will ultimately lead to tighter regulations.”
