Nicki Minaj rocks seventies psychedelia

Despite the monsoon conditions Nicki Minaj was up early and by midday Friday was on her way to the BBC studios in Maida Vale wearing a seventies inspirited psychedelic corset.

Tensions were running high as the night before paparazzo’s reportedly built a make-shift barricade in an attempt to stop the entourage from using the back door of the hotel.  This was reportedly in response to the flawed decision not to isolate the press from the public. 

As luck would have it just as Nicki emerged the heavens opened and the rain came down.

Not even the April showers would dampen Miss Minaj who looked FLY in her seventies inspired psychedelic corset and mini skirt complimented with a striped purple weave. Nicki is pictured at Radio One, Maida Vale.

Nicki Minaj’s schedule for the day included interviews at Radio One, Kiss FM, Choice and Capital Radio.

Minaj’s scheduled trip to Paris was reportedly cancelled.

So how does this compare to her 2011 trip?

There’s no doubting the fact that deleting her Twitter account severely damaged her exposure in the UK. Nicki at times appeared tired and didn’t acknowledge her fans in the same way that Rihanna and Gaga regularly do.

On Saturday over fifteen die hard fans pretty much camped outside of the W Hotel however there was no sign of Nicki all day. Rihanna or Gaga would have sent messages, cakes or biscuits.

In short Nicki who is back in one months time will have to work much harder to win back many of her fans.

On Sunday Nicki left the W Hotel at 8.30am and travelled to Heathrow. Paparazzi were reportedly struggling at 130mph to keep up with the limos however according to one paparazzi Nicki looked fantastic wearing pink-ski wear combo.
