Delilah’s set for superstardom

This time last year Flyer Newspaper stood alone in snapping the then unknown Roc Nation artist Rita Ora. We had been tipped that she was set for greatness and so she was. Few artists can boast to having a cocktail named after them in such a short span of their careers but Delilah has the ingredients to reach for the stars.

Atlantic signed Delilah has worked with the likes of Plan B, Chase and Status. Her early musical influence includes Reggae, Latin although she openly admits to having a soft spot for the Spics girls.

Following a setback in childhood Delilah by her own admission became introverted and used this time to develop her skills as a song writer. Through music Delilah has channelled her skills to become an extremely accomplished artists.

Headlining a gig at Koko in Camden last night, Delilah toasted her success by hosting an exclusive after-party at Cottons Caribbean Restaurant. VIP guests were treated to the Delilah Tanqueray Daiquiri Cocktail consisting of Dry Gin, Zacapa Rum, Sugar Syrup and Fresh Mint Leaves.

Guests at the after-party included the UK Rum Ambassador Ian Burrell and talented MC Miss Dynamite.

Miss Dynamite proved she was also and accomplished barmaid as she was spotted serving drinks from behind the counter.

The ‘Jamaica 50’ shoes designed by renowned Shoe Designer Dionne Gooding were handed to the VIP guests. www.dionnegooding.com Miss Dynamite who was lucky to have got her hands on the in demand shoes was gracious in accepting her gift.

Dionne Gooding (below) said: “I’m overwhelmed with the feedback I’ve had from the shoes. The designs have taken over six months to complete and will be available in the UK early May.”
