Recording Artists salute Bob Marley

Recording artists including Natty, HyaP, Akala, Joy Mack, Ayanna and The Wailers backing band were united in paying tribute to the great Bob Marley at Ronnie Scotts 100 club in London.

The event supported by Marley’s Mellow Mood saw the artists take to the stage and perform before 150 people.

Keeping the positive vibe flowing, free cans of Marley’s Mellow Mood was on offer throughout the evening.

Marley’s Mellow Mood (MMM) has sold over 1.2 million units, sampled 60k consumers at carnivals, music festivals and surf events nationwide and reached over 10m people through NME Sunday Sessions campaign which supports young aspiring bands.

In addition to winning a World Food Award, successful launches in ASDA this year will see Marley’s Mellow Mood become available in selected Tesco Expresses.

Performing his breakthrough track JahJah Bless Me, Artist HYA P said: “To be part of Bob Marley’s Birthday celebrations is a great honour. Bob Marley was a true visionary creative. Bob Marley not only represented people such as me but was able to communicate on a global scale.”
