Film4 season kicks off with Spanish thriller

Hundreds of people headed to Somerset House’s in Covent Garden for the season of open air films which began with The Skin I Live In, directed by Pedro Almodovar.

Almodovar is pictured arriving at the premier with lead Spanish actress Elena Anaya.

The Skin I Live In tells the story of a surgeon who tries to save the life of his wife by creating a new skin. Almodóvar describes the film as “a horror story without screams or frights.”

Summary: A plastic surgeon hunts for the men who raped his daughter.
