Countdown to Miss Jamaica UK competition

There’s only hours to go before the hightly anticipated Miss Jamaica UK finals 2010. Last minute panics have been dealt with and the contestants are now in make-up.

Miss Jamaica UK 2010 was originally planned for December but due to adverse weather was postponed  until today. Early indications are that the show will be a road-block however at 10.am things were looking a little scary. Top arist Savana was confirmed with Flu and the DJ also cancelled due to personal reasons. “It all adds to the excitement…” said Patrick from FLYER.

Television, video and lighting crews are now assembled, the girls are also going through some final choreographed paces.

Although there are some contestants still missing, the atmosphere is electric.

“If I stop and think about the show I will just get nervous, I’m now looking forward to the event.” said one contestant.
