Lady GAGA unveiled in London
After weeks of speculation Madam Tussauds have unveiled their latest and most audacious project yet. Lady GAGA the flamboyant American singer has been immortalised as a waxwork in London and simultaneously around the world.
The figure is positioned standing centre stage in the interactive music zone. She wears the gigantic Phillip Treacy telephone hat that she sported on Jonathon Ross’s Friday Night show.
The eight styles also unveiled in New York, Las Vegas, Hollywood, Amsterdam, Berlin, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
Fans will get a chance to indulge in GAGA interactive fun, posing alongside the figure in an array of outlandish Gaga style accessories, from the obligatory wigs to outlandish shades.
Outside the unveiling there were representatives from Animal Rights campaign group PETA who were campaigning against animal cruelty. They were dressed in lettuce leaf skirts.
A spokeswomen said: “We want people to know that whether you’re eating meet or wearing animal products you’re still endorsing cruelty which is why we are here today.”
